House Bill No. by Representative Zeringue designates the elevated portion of Louisiana Highway 315, known as the Bayou Dularge Bascule Bridge, as the "Elward T. Brady, Jr. Memorial Bridge." This designation honors Elward T. Brady, Jr. and is intended to be implemented in the city of Houma, Terrebonne Parish.

The bill also directs the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) or its contractors to erect and maintain appropriate signage that reflects this new designation. However, the installation of the signage is contingent upon the receipt of local or private funds that cover the DOTD's actual costs for materials, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation, with a maximum expenditure of $750 per sign.
