In 2017, Tina joined Governor John Bel Edwards' administration, where she advanced from deputy executive counsel to executive counsel, providing legal guidance on a range of policy issues. Most recently, she has served as special counsel to Senate President Cameron Henry, offering legal advice on significant matters before the Senate.
