She is the daughter of Frankie and Stacie Brooks and the granddaughter of civil rights activist David Dennis. As the first Louisiana Miss Juneteenth Queen to achieve the national title, she has gained recognition as a goodwill ambassador, participating in events such as the National Freedom Day Observance and hosting programs focused on African American history for youth in her region.
The resolution expresses pride in Alexandra's accomplishments and her commitment to education, as she plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to study nursing.
