Over the years, it has grown to include over two hundred members, who are professionals and leaders in various fields, and has implemented impactful programs such as a debutante program that has mentored over six hundred fifty high school seniors and awarded more than two hundred eighty-eight scholarships.

In addition to its educational initiatives, the Sigma Rho Omega Chapter has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service, completing over thirty thousand hours of service in the past decade alone. The chapter also established the Pearls of Humanity Foundation to enhance its philanthropic efforts and has actively participated in initiatives to combat childhood hunger, providing thousands of meals to those in need. The resolution recognizes the chapter's ongoing dedication to the mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, which focuses on improving quality of life and uplifting communities through various programs and initiatives.
