The Senate Resolution commends the Sigma Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, on the occasion of its thirty-fifth anniversary. In addition to its educational initiatives, the Sigma Rho Omega Chapter has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service, completing over thirty thousand hours of service in the past decade alone. The chapter also established the Pearls of Humanity Foundation to enhance its philanthropic efforts and has actively participated in initiatives to combat childhood hunger, providing thousands of meals to those in need. The resolution recognizes the chapter's ongoing dedication to the mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, which focuses on improving quality of life and uplifting communities through various programs and initiatives.
