House Bill No. by Representative Newell proposes a constitutional amendment to Article X, Section 10(A)(1)(b) of the Louisiana Constitution, which currently allows the legislature to provide state supplemental pay to sworn, commissioned law enforcement officers and fire protection officers employed by port authorities.
