House Bill No. by Representative McMakin proposes amendments to the composition of the parish executive committee for recognized political parties in East Baton Rouge Parish. The bill enacts R.S. 18:444(G)(2)(e), which specifies that the committee will include one member elected from each of the twelve councilmanic districts, five members elected at large from the parish, and ex officio members consisting of registered members of the legislative delegation and statewide elected officials who are also registered members of the political party.
