This bill authorizes the commissioner of administration to transfer certain state properties located in Webster and Bienville Parishes, Louisiana. Specifically, it allows for the conveyance of interests in approximately 1,400 acres of dried lake bed areas, as well as three tracts of land totaling 0.81 acres to Mark Alan Dean and Amy Redden Dean, and two tracts totaling 0.84 acres to Mark Jason Woods and Jennifer Michelle Woods. The bill stipulates that these transfers will exclude mineral rights and will be executed in exchange for consideration that is proportionate to the appraised value of the properties.

Additionally, the bill empowers the commissioner to enter into necessary agreements and execute documents to facilitate these transactions. The effective date of the bill is contingent upon the governor's signature or, if not signed, upon the expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature. If the bill is vetoed and later approved by the legislature, it will take effect the day after such approval.
