This bill amends the boundaries of the Gentilly Development District in Orleans Parish by updating the legal description of the district's perimeter. Specifically, it replaces the previous reference to "Robert E. Lee Boulevard" with "Allen Toussaint Boulevard" in the boundary description. Additionally, the bill expands the district's boundaries to include a new area defined by I-10 to the west, I-10 and I-610 to the north, Peoples Avenue south to Almonaster Avenue to the east, and Florida Avenue to the south.

The effective date of the bill is contingent upon the governor's signature or, if not signed, upon the expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature. If the bill is vetoed and later approved by the legislature, it will take effect the day after such approval.
