This bill amends R.S. 1:55(A)(3) to extend the legal holiday associated with the Washington Parish Free Fair. Specifically, it designates the whole of Wednesday, the whole of Thursday, and Friday of the Washington Parish Free Fair as legal holidays, allowing the clerk of court for the parish of Washington to close his office on those days.

The previous law only recognized Friday of the Washington Parish Free Fair as a legal holiday for this purpose. The amendment aims to provide additional time for observance of the fair, thereby enhancing the community's participation in this local event.
