Prior law provided that the board of directors for Jimmy D. Long School for Math, Science,
and the Arts be composed of 24 members, including two members of the Senate Committee
on Education.
New law provides that the board of directors for Jimmy D. Long School for Math, Science,
and the Arts is composed of 24 members, including two members of the Senate appointed
by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education.
