This bill designates a portion of U.S. Route 11 Maestri Bridge in St. Tammany Parish as the "Jimmy Buffett 'Changes in Latitude' Memorial Crossing." The northern bascule of the bridge, which connects Slidell and New Orleans across Lake Pontchartrain, will be officially recognized with this designation.

The Department of Transportation and Development is tasked with erecting and maintaining appropriate signage for this designation, contingent upon receiving local or private funds that cover the actual costs of materials, fabrication, and installation, capped at $550 per sign. The signs will be placed near the approach to the northern bascule span service building, with additional signage on the sides of the northern bascule pier if sufficient funding is available.
