This bill amends and reenacts certain provisions of Louisiana's early childhood care and education laws, specifically R.S. 17:407.101. It increases the membership of the Early Childhood Care and Education Commission from forty-one to forty-five members. New members will include representatives from a nongovernmental economic development organization, a child advocacy organization, the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, and the Child Care Association of Louisiana.
