This bill enacts a new section of law, R.S. 47:463.230, to establish a special prestige motor vehicle license plate known as the "Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale." The Department of Public Safety and Corrections is tasked with creating this license plate, which will be available for passenger cars, pickup trucks, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, and vans, provided there are at least one thousand applicants. The design of the plate will be selected in collaboration with the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale and must include the organization's name.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that an annual royalty fee of twenty-five dollars will be collected for the license plate, along with a handling fee of three dollars and fifty cents. The collected fees will be forwarded to the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale to support their community engagement initiatives in the New Orleans metropolitan area and throughout Louisiana. The secretary of the department is also authorized to promulgate necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of this new license plate program.
