Supp. 68-1051 to redesignate a current portion of the highway, which previously extended to the Kansas-Oklahoma border, as the Purple Heart/Combat Wounded Veterans Highway, with the new endpoint being the southern junction with United States Highway 166.

Furthermore, the bill repeals the existing section of K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 68-1051, which outlines the previous designations and routes.
