This bill mandates that all school districts in Kansas include a presentation on human fetal development as part of any course that covers human growth, human development, or human sexuality. The presentation must consist of a high-quality, computer-generated animation or high-definition ultrasound lasting at least three minutes, showcasing the development of vital organs such as the brain and heart during early human fetal development.

Additionally, the bill amends K.S.A. 72-253 to remove references to compensation for members of the state board of education while attending meetings, instead allowing the state board to establish a compensation rate for their service at regularly scheduled meetings and other educational events. The existing section of K.S.A. 72-253 is repealed, and the act will take effect upon its publication in the statute book.
