The bill designates a future interchange on K-10 highway, located at the existing intersection of K-10 highway and Wakarusa Drive in Douglas County, as the Kris Norton memorial interchange. This designation will be implemented as part of the K-highway expansion project. The Secretary of Transportation is tasked with placing highway signs along the highway right-of-way to indicate the name of the interchange, following the compliance with K.S.A. 68-1,114 and its amendments.
