The bill also clarifies that CRNAs cannot perform or induce abortions or prescribe drugs for abortions.

Furthermore, the bill updates the language regarding the role of CRNAs within healthcare teams, changing the term "health care" to "healthcare." It also repeals the existing section of K.S.A. 65-1158, effectively replacing it with the new provisions outlined in the bill. The act will take effect upon its publication in the statute book.
