SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for SB 383 by Senate Committee on Local Government
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning SB 383 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
Under current law, the board of directors of a drainage district is prohibited from going
into executive session or holding meetings in which the public is denied admission. SB 383 would
allow the board of directors of drainage districts to meet in executive session.
The League of Kansas Municipalities and the Kansas Association of Counties indicate that
enactment of the bill would not have a fiscal effect on cities or counties.
