SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2286 by Representative Hill
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2286 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
HB 2286 would prohibit law enforcement agencies from engaging in motorcycle profiling.
The bill lists certain factors that would be prohibited from being used in deciding to stop and
question, take enforcement action, arrest, or search a person or vehicle.
The bill would not have a fiscal effect.
