Dear Senator Baumgardner:
SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for SB 32 by Senate Committee on Education
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning SB 32 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
Under current law, the Kansas State High School Activities Association is authorized to
establish a system for the classification of member high schools based on student attendance. SB
32 would add the phrase “and other factors” in addition to student attendance for establishing a
high school classification system. The bill would make other technical changes to current law.
The enactment of SB 32 would have no fiscal effect
