1 AN ACT making and concerning appropriations for the fiscal year ending
2 June 30, 2020, for the Kansas department for aging and disability
3 services; relating to home and community-based services.

5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
6 Section 1.
7 KANSAS DEPARTMENT FOR
8 AGING AND DISABILITY SERVICES
9 (a) There is appropriated for the above agency from the state general
10 fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, the following:
11 LTC – medicaid assistance – NF (039-00-1000-0520)..............$18,591,189
12 Provided, That, in addition to the other purposes for which expenditures
13 may be made by the Kansas department for aging and disability services
14 from the LTC – medicaid assistance – NF account for fiscal year 2020,
15 expenditures shall be made by such agency from such account during
16 fiscal year 2020 to provide a rate increase for providers of home and
17 community-based services under each of the waivers provided by section
18 1915(c) of the federal social security act.
19 Sec. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
20 publication in the statute book.
