1 A HOUSE RESOLUTION congratulating Lake Central
2 High School's boys soccer team, from St. John, Indiana, for
3 winning class 3A semi-state.
4 Whereas, Lake Central played Noblesville in the semi-state
5 finals, winning 2-1;
6 Whereas, With the teams tied 1-1 in the second half, senior
7 Jack Bailey crossed the ball to Jakob Noldin and the
8 sophomore forward scored to give Lake Central the lead;
9 Whereas, Coach Jereme Rainwater said his team had finally
10 realized they belonged;
11 Whereas, In the second half, forward Jack Bailey took on
12 Noblesville's defense, making way for Noldin's goal;

1 Whereas, The entire team put in its best effort, senior center
2 back Bryce Gross stopped Noblesville's offense, sophomore
3 Quentin Enyeart cleared a potential goal off the line with 40
4 seconds left, and senior goalkeeper Adrian Orciuch held strong
5 with five saves; and
6 Whereas, the Lake Central boys soccer team went on to play
7 in the state finals at IUPUI, creating an unforgettable moment
8 for the team: Therefore,
9 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the
10 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
11 SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives
12 congratulates Lake Central High School's boys soccer team for
13 winning class 3A semi-state.
14 SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of
15 Representatives shall transmit copies of this resolution to
16 Representative Chris Chyung for distribution.
