Makes findings regarding the Multi-Sector Plan for Aging titled "EngAging Illinois: A Comprehensive Plan for Living Well" and other matters. Establishes the EngAging Illinois Multisector Plan for Aging Commission to guide, coordinate, and oversee implementation of EngAging Illinois across State government and its partner organizations. Provides for the appointment of Commission members. Specifies that Commission members will: provide cross-sector expertise to guide implementation; participate in and convene workgroups aligned with the Plan's focus areas; monitor implementation progress and identify barriers and opportunities; and work together to make Illinois a leader among states in supporting its population of older adults to achieve high quality, purposeful lives and maximize positive outcomes for society. Provides that the Commission shall be co-chaired by the Chief Planning Officer along with an individual external to State government, designated by the Director of the Department on Aging. Sets forth the duties of the Chief Planning Officer. Provides that Commission members will serve without compensation. Contains provisions regarding meetings, administrative support, State agency cooperation, Plan updates, and severability. Directs the Department on Aging to pursue Illinois' designation as an AARP "Age-Friendly State" and continue promoting the efforts of existing local "Age-Friendly Communities" in Illinois. Provides that the Commission will sunset no later than December 31, 2036. Supersedes any contrary provision of any prior Executive Order. Effective immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State.
