Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative Act. Delays the implementation date for the direct support professional credential pilot program to State Fiscal Year 2028 (rather than 2025). Effective immediately.
House Floor Amendment No. 1: Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Creates the Bond Authorization Act of 2026. Amends the State Finance Act, the General Obligation Bond Act, and the Build Illinois Bond Act. Makes changes in provisions concerning bond authorizations. Effective immediately.
