Amends the Labor Dispute Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Senate Floor Amendment No. 1: Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act. In provisions concerning the duty to bargain collectively, provides that specified conditions apply whenever collective bargaining is for the purpose of establishing an initial agreement following original certification of units (rather than units with fewer than 35 employees), with respect to public employees other than peace officers, fire fighters, and security employees. Effective immediately.
