Amends the Swimming Facility Act. Defines "cold spa" and provides that it is lawful for a licensee to operate a cold spa in a manner that complies with the provisions of the Act and the rules adopted under the Act.
Senate Committee Amendment No. 1: Replaces everything after the enacting clause with the provisions of the introduced bill with the following changes. Defines "cold spa" as a basin of water that is maintained at a temperature of not less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit and not greater than 92 degrees Fahrenheit (rather than including that the basin of water must continuously filter and sanitize cold water for recovery). Provides conditions for the operation of a cold spa by a licensee under the Act.
