Under the guidance of her original handler, Trooper Rob Heise, K9 Kimber progressed from having no formal training to achieving full certification in November 2022. In early 2024, she transitioned to her new handler, Trooper Jayce Miller, and continued to serve with professionalism and reliability. Over her more than three years of service, K9 Kimber has significantly contributed to the safety of state employees, members of the Idaho Legislature, and citizens.
