STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31746 / S1457
Under Idaho Code, the Senate is charged with confirmation considerations on numerous appointments made
by the Governor. This legislation lays out a reasonable timeline for those appointments, allowing the Senate to
fulfill its statutory obligations in a deliberative and timely manner.
FISCAL NOTE
Because this is merely a timing issue as to when Gubernatorial appointments are made there is no fiscal impact
to the state.
