STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31587 / H0699
This appropriation to the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired provides enhancements to the FY
2025 maintenance budget that includes additional appropriation for software procurement, and the additional
2% CEC.
FISCAL NOTE
This appropriation provides an additional $1,203,100 to the maintenance appropriation provided to the
Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired found in House Bill 459. Table 1 shows incremental
adjustments to the budget found in the bill, of which the ongoing increase is $123,200 and the onetime
increase is $1,079,900. Table 2 shows all the adjustments leading to the FY 2025 Total. The total budget for
the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired is $7,092,100.
