STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31419 / H0634
This bill changes the state agency that oversees the Broadband Infrastructure Fund from the Department of
Education to the Office of the State Board of Education. This will complete the transition of IT support from
the Department to the Board.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no fiscal impact for this bill. Funds currently appropriated to the Department of Education will be
transferred to the Office of the State Board of Education.
