STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31026 / S1344
Currently a child under eighteen can be charged with prostitution. This legislation would define a sexually
exploited child and provide law enforcement the ability to remove the exploited child without arrest.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no projected fiscal impact from this legislation as it does not require financial changes to affected
agencies.
