STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31233 / H0540
This legislation updates the Title 42, chapter 31 Flood Control District Act title, policy statement and FCD
authority, and creates or modifies definitions, to reflect the districts' actual flood management role in flood risk
reduction, flood response, and flood recovery.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have no impact on the state's General fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund, because
it does not affect the operations or activities of any state agency.
