REVISED
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31175 / S1317
This legislation amends section 49-402 and 49-402D of Idaho Code to provide for the State Board of Education
to be a permissible beneficiary of the Gadsden “Don’t Tread On Me” license plate. This legislation further
amends section 33-1628 of Idaho Code to establish a firearm safety grant fund and program for the purposes
of firearms safety education currently found in section 33-1628 of Idaho Code.
FISCAL NOTE
A one-time cost of $4,000 is estimated to cover Idaho Transportation Department’s cost of development.
Custom vehicles would pay the regular registration fees, including the initial program fee and the annual
program fee.
