STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31267 / S1309
Idaho law currently requires that any birth mother expenses over $500 that need to be paid are subject to court
approval. This legislation will raise that limit to $2000, so visits to the court will be lessened. These expenses
are not paid in cash to the birth mother.
FISCAL NOTE
This is changing code references to expense limits between adoption entities, it has no affect on Idaho financial
appropriations.
