REVISED
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS31276 / S1316
Rural Idaho cemetery districts are currently required to divide into subdistricts. These small cemetery districts,
as a result, have struggled to seat board members. This bill would allow small, rural cemetery districts to
conduct at-large elections of district board members.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation only regulates elections on a local level. It does not create additional costs for local
governments. It also has no impact on the state general fund.
