STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation enables recreation districts to join government entities as defined in section 67-8203(14) to
enter into intergovernmental agreements for the purpose of developing joint plans for capital improvements, or
for the purpose of agreeeing to collect and expend impact fees for system improvements, or both.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation has no fiscal impact on the state general fund. Local governments are enabled to work together
for better use of taxpayer money.
