STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS30900 / H0450
This bill adds the option of a debit or credit card to be associated with an Activity Fund account set up by the
school district or school district’s designee. Currently, the statute only allows for disbursements of any funds
to be made by a bank check. This addition will help simplify purchases made by the schools.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government, nor does it
cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government. Therefore, the legislation has no fiscal
impact.
