STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS30073 / H0310
This legislation amends Idaho Code, Section 40-1406 to provide that a single county-wide Highway District
may operate and expand an established public van and carpooling program, rideshare platform, or park-and-ride
facility. When countywide highway districts were established, vanpools were not originally authorized.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no impact to the General Fund because this program is already funded through ITD.
