STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS30424 / H0223
This bill revises Chapter 45, title 39 updating medical terminology and clarifying existing statute. The changes
will not impact current policy or patient protections in the statute; however, it will provide clarity to providers
and the public who utilize advanced care plans, living wills, and durable power for health care.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government, nor does
it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government therefore the legislation has no fiscal
impact.
