STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation prohibits a foreign government or foreign government controlled entity from purchasing,
acquiring or holding a controlling interest in agricultural land, water rights, mining claims or mineral rights in
the state of Idaho.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no fiscal impact to the state General Fund or local government.
