STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This bill clarifies language in statute regarding people who are petitioning to be removed from the sex offender
registry and requires completion of all periods of supervised release for the conviction requiring registration.
The bill does not functionally change the process or the requirements. It confirms that all conditions must be
met.
