STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation repeals §56-267 of Idaho Code, Medicaid Expansion, the costs of which have been considerably
more than originally projected. Additional changes are made to §31-3502 and §56-263 where the expansion is
referenced.
FISCAL NOTE
The funding source breakout of the $842,368,000 (all funds decision unit 3.00) reduction is as follows:
• General Fund: $58,396.600
• Cooperative Welfare (Dedicated) Fund: $121,454,300
• Millennium Income Fund: $13,451,900
• Cooperative Welfare (Federal) Fund: $649,065,200
• Total: $842,368,000
