REVISED
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29615 / S1342
This legislation makes two changes to existing Idaho law regarding actual use of liquor licenses. First, it protects
taxpayer assets by allowing cities that acquire a liquor license up to one year before they must put the liquor
license into actual use. Second, it allows historic theatres to be compliant with actual use requirements if the
theatre offers and sells alcohol at least twice a calendar year.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have no impact on the general fund because it does not impose any additional requirements
on Alcohol Beverage Control or the Idaho Liquor Division, nor does it change the fee structure related to liquor
licenses.
