STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29508 / S1332
This legislation will align state and federal law to protect confidential communications between a client of a
non-governmental domestic or sexual violence program and the staff or volunteers of the non-governmental
domestic or sexual violence program.
FISCAL NOTE
These non-governmental programs are funded by federal dollars and private donations, so there is no impact
on the general fund.
