STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29392 / HR008
The American Rescue Plan Act ( ARPA) which was passed congress and signed in to law, allocated the State
of Idaho was allocated $1,094,018,353. This House Resolution would acknowledge that $49,999,00 from the
State Fiscal Recovery fund would be obligated to provide for child care infrastructure expansion grants to
increase the number of child care slots available to working families
FISCAL NOTE
There would be no impact to the General fund. These funds ( $49,999,000) would come out of the State Fiscal
Recovery Fund.
