STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29126 / H0519
The rules follow Coast Guard rules and are necessary for the boating programs throughout the state. The statute
would be sufficient and eliminate the need for additional rules. This change is directly related to the Red Tape
Reduction Act.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have no impact on the state's General Fund or any dedicated fund or any federal fund
because it moves rules into statute.
