REVISED
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29071C1 / S1245
The proposed legislation removes any discrepancies in definitions between statute and the administrative rules
of the Board of Pharmacy. The bill moves several well-established definitions from administrative rule to
statute, as they apply to terms in statute. The bill also consolidates all current statute definitions into one
definitions section. The bill does not add any new requirements, registrations, or red tape but does remove
areas of confusion.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have no impact on the state's General fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund because
the proposed legislation does not change any fee schedules or financially impact the Board of Pharmacy or
Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses dedicated fund.
