STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS29204 / H0501
This legislation amends code section 67-1602 to add the hallways and restrooms on the Garden Level of the
Capitol building to the definition of public space. After completion of the Capitol renovation in 2009 the new
public areas in the Garden level were not added.
FISCAL NOTE
This legislation will have no impact on the state's General Fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund because
the functions of securing and maintaining the space are currently being performed by the Department of
Administration and Idaho State Police within current resources.
