STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28111C1 / H0188
This legislation increases the limit for delegation of public works projects from $150,000 to $500,000. The
limit has not been increased since 1996. Delegation of projects is requested by agencies based on their in-house
project management capability with approval at the discretion of the permanent building fund advisory council.
FISCAL NOTE
Because projects will only be assigned based on available resources, there is no fiscal impact from the
legislation.
