STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS28438 / H0144
Currently information relating to the compensation of any officer, director or employee of insurance companies,
as reported to the Idaho State Department of Insurance, is considered confidential under Idaho Code, Section
41-335. This legislation would delete the confidentiality language in the law and thus make available to the
public the information regarding compensation of officers, directors, trustees and employees of any health
carrier.
FISCAL NOTE
There will be no fiscal impact to the General Fund.
